We aren’t just wedding florists and bakers- we create works of art that express the joy found in every stage of life. That’s why we just LOVED getting to be a part of Karla and Brian’s co-ed baby shower. These two flew all the way to Central Illinois from Jersey to celebrate their little babe with their Midwest friends and family and it was certainly an event to remember.
He & She Wedding Curators worked with the couple to dream up an incredibly beautiful vision and we were more than happy to come through on the goods. Check out why we think this whimsical, woodland baby shower is even better than what you can find on Pinterest….
We sourced our own driftwood pieces and then used floral glue to intricately create the illusion that moss and wildflowers were growing up out of the wood itself. This project was certainly one of our favorite centerpieces to make of all time- we loved the creativity and unique vision behind it all. Definitely not your typical decor for your average baby shower theme!
The dusty taupe fabric runners, wooden candlesticks, and biodegradable palm leaf dinnerware were intentional details that played into the earthy-whimsical theme as well. Our friends over at Spruce Rentals provided the lot of perfectly adorable mismatched chairs and handmade farmhouse tables to finish the look off.
Such a fun, unique take on a bud vase with some dried bits and chamomile daisies. Add in some smilax, freshly curated signage, and you’ve got yourself one styled buffet table!

And not to mention, THE coolest, MOST fun cake known to the world of baby shower desserts! But of course, that is our unbiased opinion ;)
And what is a baby shower without a mini photoshoot, complete with a wildflower bouquet and picnic to top it off?
